Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Principal to lead and grow the Houston tax practice. You will drive strategic client relationships, oversee federal tax compliance and advisory services, and mentor a team of tax professionals.

This role offers ownership opportunities and a path to expand the firm’s presence in the Houston market. You will collaborate with firm leadership to deliver industry-focused tax strategies and ensure client outcomes align with business objectives, while guiding staff

Formación

• CPA or JD required; Fifteen (15)+ years’ federal tax experience
• Supervisory experience: Five (5)+ years
• Private equity or flow-through industry experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead federal tax compliance and consulting for commercial clients, from middle market to multinational
• Manage client relationships and day-to-day tax matters
• Oversee tax planning and research across federal, state and international matters
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex tax issues
• Provide guidance, mentorship and development for staff
• Assist in business development and client expansion efforts
