Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP in New York is seeking a Tax Principal to lead the tax practice for financial services clients. You will drive federal tax compliance and advisory work, partnering with leadership and staff to deliver high‑quality solutions.

You will mentor a team, manage client relationships, and contribute to growth through new engagements while staying current on evolving tax topics and industry developments.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required, Masters or advanced degree desirable.
• CPA required for the role.
• Eleven plus years’ experience in tax compliance and consulting in a professional services environment.
• Five plus years’ supervisory experience mentoring and counseling staff.

Responsabilidades

• Lead federal tax compliance and consulting for financial institution clients, managing relationships.
• Advise on technical matters including FAS 109 and FIN 48 and tax planning.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, credits and incentives.
• Supervise engagement staffing, billing, and profitability targets.
• Network to develop new clients and projects; contribute to firm growth and brand messaging.
