Baker Tilly seeks a Tax Principal to lead the Houston market, delivering industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle market clients. You will partner with firm leadership, mentor staff, and drive growth with new and existing clients.

The role demands extensive federal tax expertise, supervision experience, and a proven ability to develop client relationships and opportunities while upholding the firm’s ethical standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required; CPA or JD preferred.
• 15+ years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory leadership and mentoring.
• Private Equity or flow-through experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Baker Tilly’s tax practice in the Houston market, delivering advisory and compliance services to middle market and larger clients.
• Manage client relationships, engagements, staffing, and profitability targets.
• Oversee complex tax research, planning, and coordination with specialty tax groups.
• Provide strategic guidance on entity structures, transactions and ASC 740.
• Mentor staff and participate in recruitment and business development.
• Represent the firm at events and contribute to market positioning.
