Job summary

LEOLA CONSTRUCTION is seeking a Residential Concrete Operations Manager to lead daily concrete operations across Houston-area projects, coordinating crews, schedules, and resources. You will partner with project managers to align pours with timelines and ensure safety and quality across all sites.

The role requires hands-on residential concrete experience, proven leadership of crews, and knowledge of local codes and permitting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential concrete construction including foundations, slabs, and forming/finishing.
• Experience supervising crews, foremen, or job sites in a lead or management role.
• Working knowledge of Houston-area building codes, permitting processes, and local soil/drainage conditions.
• Understanding of concrete mix design, curing, and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise residential concrete operations across multiple Houston-area sites.
• Direct concrete foremen and field crews with daily assignments and labor allocation.
• Coordinate ready-mix suppliers, subcontractors, and equipment/logistics to keep pours on schedule and within budget.
• Align pour schedules with overall construction timeline through collaboration with PMs and estimators.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance; lead toolbox talks and safety audits.
• Monitor concrete quality control and address issues before callbacks.
• Track job costing, labor productivity, and material usage; report variances to leadership.
• Manage relationships with city/county inspectors to meet local code, permitting, and inspection requirements.
