Job summary

Leola Construction is seeking a Residential Concrete Operations Manager to lead all day-to-day concrete operations for residential projects in the Houston market. You will schedule and supervise concrete crews and foremen, coordinate pours across multiple active job sites, and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships to ensure quality, safety, and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential concrete construction.
• Experience supervising crews, foremen, or job sites.
• Knowledge of Houston-area building codes and soil/drainage conditions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; safety practices required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise residential concrete operations across multiple Houston-area sites.
• Directly manage concrete foremen and field crews, including daily assignments and performance oversight.
• Coordinate ready-mix suppliers, subcontractors, and equipment/logistics to keep pours on schedule and within budget.
• Partner with project managers and estimators to align pour schedules with the construction timeline.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance; lead toolbox talks and safety audits.
• Monitor concrete quality control, including mix design and curing conditions.
• Track job costing, labor productivity, and material usage; report variances.
• Manage relationships with inspectors to meet local codes and permitting requirements.
• Account for site conditions (soil, drainage, weather) in pour planning.
