Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Project Controls Manager for the Houston, TX division to lead project controls, procurement, and reporting efforts. This role will coordinate with field teams and corporate departments to ensure contractor compliance and timely financial reporting.

Ideal candidates have extensive project controls experience within commercial construction, familiarity with CMiC and Egnyte, and the ability to travel as needed. We offer ESOP ownership and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Project Management/Controls at Austin Commercial
• Familiarity with TQM, CMiC and Egnyte
• Strong Project Controls background
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with project teams across the country
• Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls administration and procurement processes.
• Manage on-site IT/network coordination and ensure system reliability.
• Lead M/WBE tracking and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with field office managers on subcontractor and vendor billing.
• Develop project-specific chart of accounts and ensure timely monthly reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Austin and owner requirements on all contracts and procurement.
