Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group seeks an experienced Project Manager - Construction to lead capital projects in the Houston area. You will oversee design, construction, implementation, and closeout phases, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in new construction, renovations, MEP infrastructure, and facilities environments, with excellent communication and leadership skills. Onsite Houston role with direct-hire status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of Construction and/or Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing new construction projects, renovations, and MEP infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules and execute construction projects according to plans, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage capital projects involving new construction, renovations, and MEP infrastructure.
• Review contractual scopes of work and evaluate impact of client bulletins, field directives, design changes, and schedule modifications.
• Identify, develop, and manage project change orders.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and supporting project documentation.
• Monitor project financial performance and communicate budget status, risks, issues, and progress to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate project teams, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, subcontractors, and business partners.
