Job summary

Telios in Houston seeks an Information Systems Specialist to provide day-to-day IS and desktop support for the Houston office and collaborate with the Dallas IS team. The role requires strong BIM/Autodesk experience and a foundation in Revit to support the engineering team.

Responsibilities include hardware/software maintenance, issue resolution, and ongoing education in AEC technologies, with travel to Dallas during the initial training period.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in information systems or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated work or internship experience with Autodesk products, BIM software, Revit, or related drafting tools.
• Strong customer-support focus with effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop, hardware, software, peripheral, and connectivity support to Houston employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user information systems issues and coordinate with the Dallas team and outside vendors as needed.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support computer hardware and software.
• Provide technical support for Revit, BIM, Autodesk products, and other AEC technology used by the Houston engineering team.
• Assist with IS projects, hardware acquisition, configuration, network support, and technology implementation.
• Maintain a strong customer-service focus and provide timely follow-through on user support needs.
• Remain actively involved in continuing education and training related to AEC software and information technology.
• Travel frequently to Dallas during the initial training period for training and collaboration with the Information Systems team.
