Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a BIM Technician I–II to join our Dallas, TX office. The role focuses on drafting, modeling, and coordinating MEP plans using AutoCAD and Revit for landmark projects around the world.

You will work with a collaborative team in a dynamic environment, handling setup drawings, redlines, and project coordination while meeting deadlines and maintaining CAD/BIM standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school background or equivalent formal training.
• Minimum 8 years CAD/BIM experience with an AEC firm, or 5 years with an MEP firm.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of MEP workflows.
• Proficient in reading floor plans, sections, elevations, and CAD/BIM standards.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and file format manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, draft, convert, produce and edit MEP plans using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with project teams and external client CAD/BIM Coordinators.
• Manage project files, layers, symbology per BIM standards; assist with redlines.
• Prepare client submissions and develop 3D models for MEP engineers.
• Update 3D models, drawings, and schedules; support design markups and calculations.
