Salas O’Brien in Houston is seeking a Technology Design Specialist with strong Revit experience to join a collaborative team. You will coordinate project efforts, document design and construction progress, and facilitate the flow of information across design disciplines.

The role emphasizes engagement with data centers, network operations centers, and integrated systems, ensuring design conforms to codes and client expectations. On-site position with travel up to 5% and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with design of data centers and network operation centers.
• Comprehension of documentation, plans, and specifications for data center facilities.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and best practices for high-performance computer centers.
• Experience integrating architects, engineers, stakeholders and service providers.
• Experience designing structured cabling, wireless access, IOT, carrier systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department head and project managers to drive project outcomes.
• Technology Design tasks utilizing Revit and AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
• Review project documents and understand client intent and expectations.
• Assist in reviewing product data and shop drawing submittals.
• Assist in review and response to RFIs, CPRs, ASIs, and RFPs.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of project documents across design phases.
