Job summary

Elevate Human Capital seeks an HSE Technician to support the organization’s health, safety, and environmental programs in the Houston area. The role focuses on implementing and improving safety processes, maintaining documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will conduct inspections, incidents investigations, audits, and safety trainings while coordinating with department leaders and employees. Requires safety experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a safety-related role.
• Safety certifications preferred, including CSST, COSS, OSHA 10/30, OSHA 500/510 or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HSE documentation and filing systems.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine root causes.
• Conduct daily facility inspections to identify hazards.
• Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and proper labeling/storage.
• Assist in safety policy development and training programs.
• Participate in internal and external HSE audits.
• Provide leadership with safety resources and tools.
• Coordinate safety training for employees, contractors, visitors.
