Job summary

Talisman is seeking an accomplished senior leader to oversee Houston operations, drive profitability, and grow the local book of business across environmental services. You will guide staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation while building relationships with key clients and industry partners.

The role requires 15+ years in environmental consulting, strong leadership, and a proven ability to develop strategies that align with corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Env Sci, Eng, Geology, Business)
  • 15+ years in environmental consulting or related professional services
  • Proven leadership of operations across multiple service lines or P&Ls
  • Strong technical understanding of environmental service lines (permits, compliance, eng)
  • Established book of business strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with autonomous business-building ability
  • Strong financial, strategic, and operational acumen

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related professional services.
  • Proven experience leading operations, multiple service lines, departments, or P&Ls.
  • Strong technical understanding of environmental service lines, including permitting, compliance, and engineering in the industrial services sector.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management; established book of business strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to recruit and retain talent.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and build a business.
  • Strong financial, strategic, and operational acumen.
