Job summary

Gulf Stream Marine is seeking Crane Mechanics in Houston, TX to support advanced maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and rigging systems. This role emphasizes diagnostics, complex repairs, and mentoring junior staff to maintain operational readiness.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in crane maintenance, can read schematics, and can work with diagnostic tools. A valid driver's license and TWIC card or ability to obtain one are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or crane maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools
• Knowledge of rigging gear and safe handling practices
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurability standards
• TWIC card required or ability to obtain
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and rigging systems.
• Diagnose issues and perform complex repairs on cranes and related equipment.
• Mentor and train junior staff in troubleshooting and safety procedures.
