Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support the AUC Group business, reporting to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer. You will own commercial and construction contracting for a fast‑growing infrastructure platform, interacting with company leadership and gaining mentorship from senior legal leadership.

You will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements (EPC, design‑build, O&M) and help maintain templates and playbooks.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and Texas licensing.
• Houston, Texas location within the in-house role.
• 4–7 years of legal experience in commercial contracting, construction, procurement or infrastructure.
• Experience drafting or negotiating EPC, design-build, O&M or water/wastewater supply contracts.
• Strong communication skills and ability translate legal analysis into business advice.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must complete a conflict-of-interest clearance before starting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate AUC Group's commercial and construction contracts.
• Support procurement and business development on municipal, wholesale, and industrial RFPs and bids.
• Provide day-to-day guidance on drinking-water and wastewater compliance and legal matters.
• Draft notice letters and assist outside counsel through the claim process.
• Collaborate with CLCO and DGC on department strategy and risk management.
• Assist with corporate governance, NDAs, and policy questions.
