Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to act as a strategic legal partner for the Industrial Water business, balancing risk with commercial objectives from opportunity screening to contract execution.

You will draft and negotiate NDAs, MOUs, LOIs, and service agreements, including DBOM/DBFOM and EPC, and manage a mixed contract portfolio while addressing risk and working with the COO to align priorities with operations.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and advise on NDAs, MOUs, and LOIs for new opportunities.
• Support bid and RFP responses with legal input.
• Draft, review, and negotiate service agreements including O&M, DBOM/DBFOM, EPC.
• Manage contract portfolio using Veolia templates.
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in deal lifecycle meetings.
• Draft amendments focusing on scope, pricing, and terms.
• Lead amendment drafting prioritizing Veolia-initiated changes.
• Advise on disputes, claims, and terminations.
• Coordinate with customer legal teams; manage outside counsel.
• Meet with Industrial Water COO to align legal and operational priorities.
• Maintain contract repository and governance across customers.
