Job summary

The Denver Housing Authority (DHA) is seeking a Maintenance Tech II at multiple locations. The HCV Intake Specialist role focuses on HUD VASH, Special Programs, Project-Based and Tenant-Based Vouchers, ensuring HUD compliance, document management, and proactive issue resolution to maintain program integrity.

Union classified; non-exempt; salary range provided from $46,169.50 to $57,711.45. The position involves processing referrals, annual reviews, admissions, interim changes, leasing, and rent

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years of clerical experience.
• Knowledge of all HCV programs preferred.
• Previous Housing Authority or non-profit experience not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct customer service and technical assistance to HCV residents including assistance in making application, completing intake documentation, and coordinating lease-up.
• Assists in maintaining and monitoring waiting list by maintaining contact with applicants, removing names of applicants who have lost eligibility, moved away, found other accommodations etc.
