Job summary

Qualifications

Experience in rent assistance or social services to determine eligibility.

Responsibilities

Conduct annual re-certifications and interim income changes for housing assistance.
Process leasing documents and coordinate with inspectors to ensure compliance.
Explain program features and determine subsidy standards and portability options.
Oversee reasonable accommodation requests and document management for reviews.
Provide information and referrals to residents on housing issues.
Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Identify potential fraud or abuse and take appropriate corrective action.
Prepare documentation for informal hearings and participate as needed.
Review reports and alert management to issues with implications.
