This role is classified as a Professional I, non-union position. The hiring range is $68,082.33 to $85,102.52.
Under the supervision of the HCV Analyst and Trainer, the Housing Choice Voucher IntegritySpecialist is responsible for ensuring that compliance goals are followed by HCV staff and that the program integrity is upheld.Work closely with Supervisor and be primary support for DHA internal, external auditors and HUD guided reporting and reporting systems with respect to file preparation and responding to general processing questions. Collaborate with internal audit department to address findings from audits and implement corrective actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
Minimum Experience Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience within Affordable Housing Management/Compliance or related field.

* Must have a professional designation with Housing Choice Voucher program:
* Current Rent Calculation certifications for HCVP are required.

Physical Requirements
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position the majorityof the time.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with otherswho have inquiries about HCV programs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Exchanges clear and accurate information with others via verbal, written, or digital communication methods.
Interpretation (policies, procedures, or practices)
Ability to understand oral and written instructions, DHA policies and procedures are available to guide job-related duties; in some cases, however, guidelines are not available. Enforces HUD regulations and DHA policies and procedures in the HCVP. May make recommendations for changes or modifications concerning departmental procedures.

Contact with the public or employees where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented.
Environmental Conditions
Changing priorities and meeting deadlines results in stress. Occasional travel to various locations and possible exposure to all types of weather conditions, moving objects, and other hazards. Possible evening and weekend work.
Working Conditions
Primarily an office environment, however, is subject to varying and unpredictable situations. A high degree of stress due to human interactions, long irregular hours, high volume of work, high volume of phone calls, and numerous interruptions.
