Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is hiring a Housing Support Worker to deliver housing support services to adults with mental illness. The role uses the Recovery Model and requires collaboration with the treatment team to implement IRPs and promote recovery in community settings.

The position involves crisis intervention, ADL assistance, and linking clients to community resources, with Monday–Saturday shifts of up to 4 hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year's experience in behavioral health, social services, or related field that includes providing direct services.
• Driving is required. Must have a clean driving record and valid local driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing support services for consumers in assigned houses.
• Participate in implementation of consumer IRP and report progress to treatment team.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
• Document service notes at time of service and complete all documentation within 24 hours.
• Conduct weekly inspections of the houses and address maintenance requests.
• Attend required meetings and participate in supervision with supervisors.
