Job summary

LA Family Housing in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Housing Stabilizer to deliver intensive home- and community-based case management to households transitioning out of homelessness. You will assess, plan, and coordinate services to address housing, health, mental health, and income needs across a diverse client group.

The role requires collaboration with local partners, field-based support around LA County, and a commitment to Housing First, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Experience in homeless services or social services environments preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches and person-centered planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management including living skills, housing stabilization, budgeting, and linking to community resources.
• Develop current biopsychosocial assessments and individualized goal plans; maintain updated client files.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and de-escalation supports as needed.
• Advocate for clients with landlords and service providers to remove barriers to housing stability.
• Attend trainings and participate in supervision, meetings, and program partnerships.
