Job summary

Pathways Vermont is seeking a Housing Coordinator to join the housing team. The role partners with PSH services to secure apartments, negotiate landlord agreements, and support housing retention for individuals experiencing homelessness and mental health challenges.

The position is in-person in Washington and Addison Counties, Vermont, full-time (35-40 hours weekly), with travel required and a flexible schedule. A cover letter and resume are required with the application.

Qualifications

• Comparable work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with housing laws and subsidy programs preferred.
• Comfort initiating new relationships and negotiations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Must be able to travel and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain housing history information (income, rental, criminal, credit).
• Support clients to identify long-term subsidized housing.
• Assist in housing application and move-in processes.
• Negotiate with landlords and educate them about Pathways’ contracts.
