Job summary

Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is seeking a Housing Stabilization Case Manager (Part-Time) to join our team. This role focuses on helping individuals establish and pursue goals to improve housing stability through navigation, referrals, and advocacy.

The position requires an Associate degree in human services or related field, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills, with evenings/weekends as needed. Starting wage is $19.58-$20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in human services or related field; education/experience may be considered.
• One year of experience in human services is preferred.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Strong background in customer services with the target population.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to transport clients and visit homes within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with establishing and working on individualized goals to increase housing stability.
• Provide housing navigation, referrals, support, and maintain a network of resource providers.
• Offer skill building, support, and advocacy to maintain housing long term.
• Attend community meetings and share program information with the team.
