Job summary

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is hiring a Rapid Re-Housing Stability Case Manager in Orlando. You will deliver direct case management under the SHIP RRH program, using a housing first approach and low barrier guidelines to help individuals achieve stable housing.

The role requires professional delivery, confidentiality, strong communication, and collaboration with staff to support clients’ housing goals and crisis resolution.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in a social services field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Five or more years of documented case management experience accepted if no degree.
• Homeless services/rapid rehousing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with clients and document case notes in HMIS.
• Develop Housing Stability Plans with clients using a strength-based approach.
• Assist with housing applications, fees, and lease negotiations.
• Support move-in with basic household items and understanding of the unit.
• Mediate tenant issues with landlords and de-escalate crises.
• Provide or connect clients to resources to improve safety and wellbeing.
• Monitor housing stability during rental assistance and report monthly.
• Maintain and submit client documents and IPPs; ensure timely updates.
