Job summary

The Salvation Army St. Cloud Corps is seeking a Case Manager to provide individualized, person-centered services to shelter participants and families.

You will assess needs, develop service plans, connect clients with housing, income, health, and educational resources, and support progress toward stability. This role emphasizes collaboration with shelter staff and community partners to promote safe housing and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, or related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Minnesota state licensure required if degree is in social work.
• At least one year of case management or related experience.
• Experience with homelessness or housing instability preferred.
• Background checks, valid driver's license, and MVR clearance required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Case management and housing stabilization for shelter participants.
• Maintain records, complete assessments and service plans.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and partner agencies.
• Provide education on housing stability, budgeting and employment readiness.
• Participate in team meetings and support program operations.
