Job summary

Three Rivers Community Action seeks a Housing Advocacy Specialist to provide housing-focused case management, support tenancy stability, and help participants overcome barriers to housing success.

You will work with individuals and households in Site-Based Supportive Housing, building relationships with property managers and partners to ensure access to resources and services while balancing program requirements and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Has a bachelor's degree with previous case management/service coordination experience.
• Trauma-informed, equity-centered approach to supporting others.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and/or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
• Fluency in a language other than English, especially Spanish or Somali.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing-focused case management and ongoing participant support.
• Help participants establish goals and develop strategies to maintain stable housing.
• Connect individuals and families with community resources and supportive services.
• Advocate for participants and help address barriers that may impact housing retention.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, housing providers, and community partners.
• Coordinate services and referrals to promote long-term housing success.
• Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and program records.
• Support program compliance and funding requirements while delivering participant-centered services.
