Job summary

Pioneer Human Services in Washington state is seeking a passionate Supportive Housing Specialist to help individuals achieve housing stability and community integration. You will deliver evidence-based services, coordinate with landlords, and guide participants through leases, benefits, and housing resources.

You will work in a person-centered, trauma-informed framework, maintaining detailed records and collaborating with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive wraparound support for

Qualifications

• AA degree in any related field (Human services, business administration, social work, public health, criminal justice, etc.)
• 2 years’ experience working with individuals who experience behavioral health challenges
• Must obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within 7 days of employment
• Possess or pursue Certified Peer Counselor Credential through WA DOH within 30 days of employment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, education, support and skill-building related to housing stability and community integration goals.
• Deliver services using SAMHSA Evidence-Based Practices to support the fidelity model for Supportive Housing.
• Engage participants with person-centered, trauma-informed approaches and empower self-determination.
• Assist with leases, housing applications, and documentation; move-in coordination and resource navigation.
• Maintain data and reports; document outcomes per program guidelines and medical necessity standards.
• Collaborate with landlords and housing authorities to expand housing options and ensure wraparound support.
