Job summary

EightCAP, Inc. is seeking a Housing Resource Specialist to assist clients facing housing instability and help them secure permanent housing. The role emphasizes client intake, needs assessment, and coordinating access to community resources.

You will build relationships with landlords and partner organizations while conducting on-site checks and ensuring documentation accuracy. A passion for helping people achieve stability is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires: Associate’s degree or HS diploma with 2 years in housing or property management.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in housing/property management; HMIS experience; knowledge of local housing resources and HUD programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake and eligibility assessments for emergency assistance programs and benefits.
• Develop individualized housing plans and provide ongoing case management.
• Coordinate referrals to healthcare, employment, and education resources.
• Maintain housing quality checks and strengthen landlord relations.
• Ensure accurate documentation and program compliance.
• Collaborate with local Continuum of Care and support continuous program improvement.
• Track client outcomes and provide follow-up to sustain housing stability.
• Adapt to additional duties to support EightCAP’s mission.
