Job summary

Catholic Charities Pittsburg is seeking a compassionate Housing Case Manager to help homeless individuals secure permanent housing and access essential services in our community. This full-time, in-person role offers meaningful advocacy, intake, housing plan development, landlord liaison, and ongoing support, with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive benefits.

You will work with HUD programs and HMIS, ensuring client progress and collaboration with community partners for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.
• Degree in social work, sociology, or psychology preferred.
• Class C driver's license, personal vehicle, and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct advocacy and case management services to eligible recipients with housing plan development, housing search, landlord advocacy, and referrals for permanent housing stability.
• Provides rental and utility assistance including application fees, deposits, and monthly payments.
• Liaises with Housing Authorities, landlords, and providers of affordable housing in the service area.
• Maintains client case files and ensures clients understand housing rights and lease terms.
• Completes housing inspections prior to move-in and discharges from projects within 30 days of stability.
