Job summary

Catholic Charities Pittsburg is seeking a dedicated Housing Case Manager to support homeless individuals in securing permanent housing and accessing essential services in Pittsburg, KS. You will provide direct advocacy, intake, housing plan development, and landlord advocacy to help clients achieve stability.

This full-time, in-person role requires collaboration with local housing authorities, timely data entry, lease reviews, and participation in regional meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.
• Degree in social work, sociology or psychology preferred.
• Class C driver's license, personal vehicle, and insurance required

Responsibilities

• Screen for eligibility, intake and assess housing plans to achieve permanent stability.
• Provide rental and utility assistance and payments.
• Coordinate with Housing Authorities, landlords, and providers for permanent housing.
• Enter program data into tracking databases and maintain case files.
• Review leases with clients prior to execution and conduct housing inspections.
• Attend meetings and represent the agency at regional/statewide gatherings
