Job summary

YWCA Tulsa is seeking a Housing Caseworker to support Rapid Rehousing (RRH) programs, connecting homeless individuals and families to permanent housing and supportive services. The role uses Housing First principles, Progressive Engagement, motivational interviewing, trauma‑informed practices, and strengths‑based goal setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience with high-need populations and complex behavioral needs, working in community-based case management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with documentation: birth certificates, IDs, Social Security, and benefits applications.
  • Support move‑in processes and secure household items.
  • Advocate for equitable access to services and benefits.
  • Connect clients to community resources and follow up regularly.
  • Encourage self-sufficiency and budgeting with clients.
  • Coordinate housing stability through job and education opportunities.
