Experience Champaign Urbana seeks a full-time housing counselor to provide education and guidance to clients pursuing permanent housing. The role acts as the TBRA liaison for both residential and non-residential clients, ensuring compliance with leases and program requirements.

Qualifications include at least an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) and strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills.

Formación

• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients, staff and partners
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Computer proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within guidelines
• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide housing counseling to clients for entering and maintaining permanent housing
• Serve as TBRA liaison for residential and non-residential clients
• Assist clients with intake assessments and redeterminations
• Develop and maintain housing assessments and service plans
• Foster relationships with community partners and landlords
• Document meetings and maintain confidential files
• Travel to client homes and community spaces as needed
• Coordinate disbursement of funds for services
• Complete required forms and reports
