Job summary

Preferred Family Healthcare is seeking a Housing Liaison in Kirksville, MO. The role focuses on engaging individuals with housing needs, connecting them to safe and affordable housing, and resolving housing crises within the community.

You will serve as the internal housing resources expert, collaborate with local Continuums of Care, and support clients in accessing services across housing, health, and social supports. A commitment to empowering individuals is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related case manager experience in housing.
• Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support from approved program.
• Qualified to provide Community Support via specified educational background and experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals in the community or in recovery and assist them with meeting basic housing needs.
• Assist clients in resolving housing crises and connect them with housing resources.
• Collaborate with local Continua of Care to identify housing instability and establish networks for housing stability.
