Qualifications

• Two years of experience in housing assistance programs, social services for low income households, or related fields.
• Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in housing programs or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage a case load including monitoring 30-day notices, move appointments, and rent computations.
• Process Housing Choice Voucher Program applications and determine eligibility.
• Conduct applicant interviews, verify income and household composition.
• Prepare and maintain files, schedules, and eligibility lists.
• Assist clients in locating suitable housing and negotiate rents with landlords.
• Perform inspections (move-ins, recerts, HQS) and monitor verifications.
• Support outreach to landlords and provide counseling to tenants.
