RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Housing Specialist for the ACTT Team in Burlington, NC to help people with severe mental illness secure safe, affordable housing and coordinate housing services.

Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field and one year of adult mental health experience are required; valid driver’s license and strong communication, problem solving, and on-call flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field is required.
• One year mental health experience with adults with severe mental illness.
• Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains service plans and crisis plans based on client data.
• Prepares documentation including assessments, admissions, and progress notes timely.
• Gains funding authorization for needed services and entitlements.
• Develops and maintains relationships with local housing vendors and providers.
