Job summary

RHA Health Services is hiring an RN for the Assertive Community Treatment Team in Burlington, NC. The role focuses on providing nursing care and crisis intervention within a community-based team for individuals with behavioral health needs.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license and may have a Bachelor's in Nursing. Behavioral health experience and CPR certification are preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires an unencumbered Registered Nursing License; for certain behavioral health services additional requirements may apply.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Pre-employment screenings include background checks, drug testing, and verification of credentials.

Responsibilities

• Follow supports and services as indicated in the Crisis Plan and Person Centered Plan.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and attend PCP meetings.
• Monitor consumers for side effects and adverse reactions to medications.
• Assist team with assessing learning needs of consumers and provide teaching as indicated.
