Job summary

Collaborative Support Programs of NJ is seeking a full-time Rapid Rehousing Specialist in Morris County to help individuals experiencing homelessness access housing resources and maintain safe, stable housing. Under supervision of the Diversion Supervisor, you will assist with HUD-VASH vouchers and income supports.

This grant-funded role emphasizes engagement with landlords and community partners to facilitate housing placements and ongoing stability. A NJ driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years related experience in housing, homelessness, social services, property management, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Educates individuals on housing vouchers and rental assistance programs.
• Develops relationships with landlords, referral agencies, and partners to expand housing opportunities.
• Assists with housing search, applications, documentation, communications with landlords, and addressing barriers to stability.
