Job summary

CSPNJ in Morris County, NJ is seeking a full-time Rapid Rehousing Specialist to support individuals experiencing homelessness in obtaining and maintaining safe housing, including HUD-VASH vouchers and income supports.

Under the supervision of the Diversion Supervisor, you will educate clients, coordinate with landlords and agencies, manage housing applications, and address barriers to housing stability using trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a mental health-related discipline.
• 2+ years of related experience in housing, homelessness, social services, property management, or a related field.
• Must have a valid New Jersey Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Educate individuals on housing vouchers and rental assistance, including eligibility and benefits.
• Develop relationships with landlords and agencies to expand housing opportunities.
• Assist with housing search, applications, documentation, and lease coordination.
• Support clients with barriers to housing stability using trauma-informed practices.
