Job summary

Community Concepts, Inc. in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Housing Intake Specialist to manage initial housing program intake, meet clients in person or by phone, and process applications with care. You will coordinate referrals and maintain accurate records in our system.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Eligible candidates should be able to travel within the service area and work 40 hours weekly on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Associate’s degree in Social Services or Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum of three years of customer service

Responsibilities

• Act as primary intake for Housing programs; meet with clients face-to-face or by phone and process applications.
• Provide appropriate referrals to internal and external partners and assist with inquiries.
• Enter accurate information into software and update referrals as needed.
• Maintain current waitlists and report updates to Housing Services Programs.
• Update contractor records, licenses, insurances, and compliance docs.
