Job summary

United Way Forsyth County, Inc. seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee the Housing Services portfolio, including Rapid Re‑Housing and SSVF programs, with TFA fund management and staff supervision.

You will build landlord partnerships, track grant spending, and ensure compliance with HUD/VA guidelines while supporting data quality in HMIS. The hybrid role requires travel across the service area and a strong background in housing services and contract coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in housing services, homelessness response, property management, or related field.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area with reliable transportation.
• HUD HQS certification preferred; if not, prepared to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, or preparing real estate or lease contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Rapid Re‑Housing and SSVF programs.
• Provide leadership, supervision and problem-solving to case managers and partner staff.
• Maintain landlord relationships and identify affordable housing; coordinate lease processes.
• Oversee TFA fund management and grant spending reconciliation.
• Coordinate with inspectors and HUD/VA guidelines; ensure data quality with HMIS.
