Job summary

Responsibilities include eligibility determinations, cost analysis, bid coordination, and preparing grant/loan agreements for local officials and property owners. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction science or related field and 1 year of experience, OR Associate’s degree in building trades with 3 years of experience, OR combination of education and experience equating to 5 years.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record for last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations of property rehabilitation programs and related grants/loans.
• Evaluate properties, prepare cost estimates and construction specs.
• Inspect work for compliance with plans and codes.
• Explain programs to the public and assist with bid processes.
• Prepare reports with photographs, cost analysis and financing details.
