Job summary

Brilliant Corners is seeking a Program Manager to oversee San Mateo housing programs and Community Supports. You’ll lead staff, manage operations, and ensure quality service delivery in partnership with funders and county partners.

You’ll drive program outcomes, supervise staff performance, and manage budgets with reporting to internal and external stakeholders. A data-driven, collaborative leader will excel in this role.

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, workflows, and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of affordable housing, housing services, Fair Housing laws, and related services.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to assigned staff, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and accountability.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and implementation of housing services and Community Supports.
• Monitor program performance and conduct quality assurance reviews for delivery and compliance.
• Ensure objectives, deliverables, service standards, and performance expectations are met with funder requirements.
• Meet with direct reports biweekly, including in-person office meetings.
• Facilitate monthly all-staff in-person meetings for coordination and training.
• Manage relationships with health plans, county partners, landlords, and community orgs.
• Represent Brilliant Corners in meetings with funders and external stakeholders.
• Use Salesforce, Excel, accounting software to monitor operations and reporting.
• Monitor expenditures, approve requests, support budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop training plans to ensure staff have necessary knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain program procedures, workflows, and tools.
• Collaborate with Associate Director to address challenges and improvements.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide coverage to ensure continuity of program services.
• Attend required agency-wide and department trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
