Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services seeks a Programs Manager I - Housing to coordinate and monitor state housing and homeless services for individuals facing mental health or substance use challenges in the Oklahoma City area.

Responsibilities include contract monitoring, fiscal oversight, and leading the Housing Plus Endorsement training while aligning with statewide housing best practices and inter-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, public health, public administration, human services, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; no substitution for a bachelor’s degree.
• Combination of education and experience allowed: 1 year of professional experience per year of education.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract monitoring, technical assistance, consultation, and training to contracted providers and stakeholders.
• Provide fiscal monitoring for assigned contracts and ensure compliance with programmatic, contractual, and funding requirements.
• Coordinate Housing Plus Endorsement training and support statewide implementation of housing best practices.
