Job summary

Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga is seeking a Senior Director of Housing to lead residential services in Tompkins and Tioga counties from our Ithaca office. This full-time role (35 hours/week, Monday–Friday) oversees program leadership, quality assurance, policy development, and collaboration with funders and community partners to advance housing initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in housing/behavioral health, and at least 2 years of supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, business administration, public administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of housing, residential, behavioral health, or human services experience, minimum two (2) years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience with supportive housing, homelessness systems, regulatory compliance, and multi-site operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs core services and provides operational leadership for residential services.
• Manages quality assurance, utilization review, and program evaluation activities.
• Develops and updates department policies and procedures.
• Leads housing programs, monitors budgets, and supports grant work.
• Oversees staff training, supervision, and performance management.
• Represents housing programs to funders, agencies, and community partners.
