Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Grants Coordinator to support the Housing Assistance Programs department. You will manage client referrals, gather documentation, determine eligibility, and coordinate hotel stays and payment processing.

You will ensure accurate recordkeeping for audits, communicate with applicants, landlords, and grantors, and help maintain compliance with program regulations and contracts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with housing authority or case management is preferred.
• Strong data entry and communication skills; proficiency with Office software.
• Familiarity with federal/state/local regulations and policies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals for short-term and emergency housing assistance.
• Verify eligibility criteria and maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes.
• Coordinate hotel stays and payment processing with Finance and grantors.
• Communicate with applicants, landlords, and grantors to finalize eligibility.
• Maintain organized records and reconcile related transactions.
