Job summary

Ursinus College is seeking an Assistant Director for Housing Operations to oversee StarRez, housing workflows, and data integrity. This on-campus role supports annual housing processes, roommate matching, and billing while collaborating with Residence Life and campus partners to ensure a student-centered housing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Three or more years of experience with StarRez or similar housing system.
• Experience coordinating housing selection, room assignments, and billing.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and data documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• StarRez Administration, Configuration, and Data Integrity: serve as the primary functional administrator for StarRez housing processes and configure workflows.
• Develop, maintain, and improve StarRez portals, forms, and applications supporting housing selection, assignments, roommate matching, and other approved housing processes.
• Plan and test new or revised workflows; troubleshoot issues; coordinate upgrades with College partners and vendor support.
• Maintain accurate system settings, process documentation, and user guidance; address data-quality issues and ensure consistent housing data usage.
• Develop and maintain operational reports, rosters, and tracking tools for housing assignments, billing coordination, and planning.
• Recommend system enhancements and process automations to strengthen usability and student experience.
