Job summary

Villanova University is seeking an Assistant Director for Housing Operations to lead facilities‑related housing services across our 38 residence halls. The role partners with Facilities Management, manages vendor services, and coordinates opening/closing logistics, inspections, and damage billing in collaboration with Residence Life staff.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in residence hall operations, with strong communication, budgeting, and project coordination abilities

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Serve as departmental liaison with campus partners and outside vendors.
Oversee opening and closing of residence halls and related inspections.
Coordinate with Facilities, Custodial and Maintenance on services and budgets.
Assist with training, scheduling, and on‑call coverage for staff.
Support renovations, new construction and capacity planning for housing.
