Job summary

New Narrative seeks a Housing Navigator to support highly vulnerable community members experiencing homelessness by linking them to housing, income growth, and community services. Qualifications

• Experience with trauma-informed engagement and housing stability services.
• Familiarity with HMIS or Credible is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Must have Oregon driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing navigation to link participants to housing, services and income growth.
• Conduct assessments and develop action plans to promote housing stability.
• Coordinate wrap-around services including mental health, legal aid, benefits, health care, and job training.
• Meet participants in homes and community locations; conduct home visits.
• Maintain records in HMIS/Credible/Smartsheets with accuracy.
• Attend meetings and participate in committees as required.
