Job summary

The Baltimore Regional Housing Partnership (BRHP) seeks a Housing Mobility Rental Assistance Associate who helps low-income families access quality housing in Baltimore and surrounding counties. You will determine eligibility, calculate rent, and manage voucher processes within HUD regulations and BRHP policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 4 years in related field
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years in related field
• 5–8 years of public housing or related experience
• Experience with Housing Choice Voucher programs preferred
• Knowledge of Yardi software preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage BRHP HCV participant files
• Process re-certifications, rent changes, denials, and terminations
• Conduct voucher briefings with participants
• Determine eligibility and calculate rent and housing payments
• Process and approve tenancy requests
• Educate participants on program requirements
• Provide excellent customer care and BRHP representation
• Meet with clients as walk-ins or mediations
• Obtain HCV Specialist certification within 120 days of employment
• Perform other duties as assigned
