Job summary

Abode is seeking two Turnover Specialists to coordinate unit turnover and make-ready activities across properties in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Santa Mateo Counties, and South Bay Subregions. You will work with onsite staff, vendors, and HUB teams to ensure safe, habitable, lease-ready units within timelines and budgets.

You should have 3–4 years’ experience in residential maintenance or turnover coordination, plus strong communication and carpentry/plumbing/electrical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years’ experience in Residential Maintenance, Unit Turnovers, or Facilities Coordination.
• Experience in painting, carpentry repairs, and apartment turnover requested.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of unit turnover from vacancy to readiness with onsite staff.
• Oversee light turnover tasks: parts, repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, and minor flooring.
• Develop and follow make-ready scopes and HQS compliance checklists.
• Monitor turnover timelines and vendor performance for quality and safety.
• Communicate scope, timelines, and priorities to onsite staff and vendors.
