Job summary

The role involves GIS-driven analysis, tracking grant funding, preparing dashboards, and coordinating cross-department projects to inform community development decisions. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in public housing or finance-related work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Community Development, Finance, Accounting, Geography, GIS/Spatial Planning, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of full-time experience in public-sector or nonprofit housing/community development work.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes GIS software to develop and maintain maps, spatial datasets, and analyses supporting Land Bank Authority and Housing Division.
• Performs complex spatial analyses to identify target areas for housing investment and support strategic planning.
• Creates data visualizations, story maps, and interactive maps to communicate findings to internal teams and partners.
• Tracks funding mechanisms including federal, state, and local grants and financing tools.
• Prepares reports, dashboards, and summaries on project status and program performance.
